Urban Art with Maser

Urban Art at Portobello Civic Space. Friday, 24/04. 5pm to 9pm.

An innovative arts event aimed at local teenagers. International urban artist Maser will exhibit and paint in conjunction with teens. Maser will show how urban artis a style of art that relates to cities and city life and how work done by artists who live in or have a passion for city life can enhance their space. Come along for Monster Energy Drinks truck, DJ and BMX bikers.

This exciting event employs the universal theme of art and adapts visual artwork into a format which utilizes public space, allows artists/teenagers who may otherwise feel disenfranchised, to reach a much broader audience than traditional artwork and galleries normally allow.
